I took her to the emergency room at Sunrise Children's Hospital. They rushed us right in within 5 minutes of arriving. The nurse Jeanna came in and saw her and brought a friend named Ryan. Ryan's job was to make sure Kristen was all right and she was taken care of, and pampered. She explained exactly what the doctor would be doing and let her know that everything would be all right and Kristen is very brave. They put her in Whale and Elephant pajamas and gave her something to color while we waited for the ER doctor.

When the doctor came in, nurse Jeanna and helper Ryan comforted Kristen and made sure she was calm.
Kristen received 4 stitches...1 underneath and 3 on top. It was very late last night when we got home, so we let Kristen stay home from school for a few hours on Friday. Friday is also the 100th day of school at their school and Kristen wanted to go...she even prayed last night at dinner time that she would have fun at the 100th day of school party.
We are glad that Kristen is all right even though her face doesn't show it right now.

OH NO!!! That's just terrible!!!
Hope she feels much better today!
That sweet little thing! I just hate seeing my kids get hurt! I hope she is feeling better!!
That's great that 'nurse Jeanna' was able to help. Was her name really spelled like mine? That's so unusual. What a good thing to remember - don't kiss mirrors. Hope she feels better soon.
Jeanna, this is the only way I knew how to spell the name...so we spelled it like you.
